We've just been up to Parkwood Springs for the first time today after reading this article. Wandered into dead ends a few times but absolutely wonderful and so much potential - a real haven for greater whitethroats as well, we saw half a dozen and heard many more. Really looking forward to watching the space develop!
Thanks for the report Greg! I’m told the folk up there are embracing the idea of mystery paths (some created by wanderers over lockdown) that don’t always go where you expect, or disappear into a thicket. They will be called ‘explorer trails’ I believe. Who knows what you might find?
