South Yorkshire Combined Authority gets just under £1 million to get going on Active Travel
The South Yorkshire Combined Authority has just received £986,585 from Active Travel England from the ‘Capabilty Fund’. This money is used to train officers to design routes that actually work for walkers, cyclists and wheelers (people with disabilities travelling under their own steam).
